Otorhinolaryngology – International Conference
On September 11th, 2019, Prof. Manee Rattanachaiyanont, Deputy Dean of Academic Affairs, Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital presided over the first International Symposium on Traditional Medicine which held during September 11th – 12th, 2019 by Center of Applied Thai Traditional Medicine, Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital. The International Symposium was held under the theme “Non-Communicable Diseases” with the objectives to provide opportunities for academics, researchers, and traditional medical practitioners to share and discuss challenges of the integration of TMs into NCDs care, clinical practices, as well as researches. The scientific program includes plenary lectures and panel discussions. The latter sessions will provide a perfect chance for networking and collaborations.
Welcome the participants from Kanto Bureau of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) to Thai Medical Device Conference. The conference was organized for the participants to learn about the Purchasing Process of Government Hospital. The opening remarks was given by Dr. Seigo Kitano, President of Oita University. The conference was seasoned by notable speakers from Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, namely, Lecturer Dr. Voraboot Taweerutchana, Director of Surgical Endocrine, Bariatric and Metabolomic Surgery Center Ms. Chinnapak Srisilarak, Chief of Division of Assets and Inventory. #irsiriraj

Dr. Nuttha Pisutsiri, Siriraj ENT resident graduated in June 2019, won the 3rd prize of Best Poster Presentation on 18th ASEAN ORL-HNS Congress during 23 – 25 August 2019 at Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel, Singapore.
On September 9th, 2019, Prof. Kulkanya Chokephaibulkit, Head of Division of Pediatric Infectious Diseases, Department of Pediatrics along with Assoc. Prof. Wanatpreeya Phongsamart and the ID team welcomed Dr.Zachary Hutchinson, a resident doctor from Oregon Health & Sciences University (OHSU), USA, to undertake a clinical elective at the Department of Pediatrics from September 9th – 27th, 2019.
Congratulations to our Siriraj medical students, Mr. Supakrit Kositbovornchai, Mr. Pasin Intarakhao, and Mr. Suphachok Charoensakyothin who received the Excellence Student Activity Award for the Project called Innovation for Campus Sustainability at the 1st Conference of Asian Sustainable Campus Network (ASCN) in China on June 13th, 2019.
