Exchange Program for Siriraj Medical Student
Siriraj Medical Student Elective Program is designed for 2nd, 4th, and 6th-year medical students to explore research and clinical exchange opportunities with our partner university from March to May each year.

Important Note:
✱ กรณีที่ผลการศึกษามีปัญหาหรือไม่สมบูรณ์ เนื่องจากสอบไม่ผ่าน สอบแก้ตัว ต้องปฏิบัติงานเพิ่มเติม รวมถึงการต้องปฏิบัติตามกฎระเบียบของการปฏิบัติงานชดใช้ทุนหลังจบการศึกษาทุกกรณี และ/หรือเหตุอื่นที่เกี่ยวข้อง ในช่วงก่อนการเดินทางให้ดำเนินการแก้ไขให้เสร็จสิ้นก่อนเดินทางไปศึกษาดูงาน หรือผลการศึกษามีปัญหาหรือไม่สมบูรณ์ ในระหว่างเดินทางไปศึกษาดูงาน ณ ต่างประเทศ นักศึกษาแพทย์ต้องแจ้งกับงานวิเทศสัมพันธ์โดยเร็วที่สุด และต้องยกเลิกการเข้าร่วมโครงการทันทีเพื่อเดินทางกลับมาดำเนินการต่าง ๆ และนักศึกษาแพทย์ต้องเป็นผู้รับผิดชอบค่าใช้จ่ายที่อาจจะเกิดขึ้นจากการเดินทางกลับก่อนกำหนดด้วยตนเอง และจะไม่เรียกร้องสิทธิใด ๆ จากคณะแพทยศาสตร์ศิริราชพยาบาลมหาวิทยาลัยมหิดลภายใต้โครงการ
✱ เนื่องจากสถานการณ์การระบาดของโรคติดเชื้อไวรัส COVID-19 ยังมีการเปลี่ยนแปลงอยู่ตลอดเวลา รวมถึงสถานการณ์ของโรคอุบัติใหม่ ภัยพิบัติทางธรรมชาติ สถานการณ์ทางการเมืองของสถาบันปลายทาง หรือสถานการณ์ที่ทางคณะพิจารณาเห็นความเสี่ยงต่างๆ เป็นต้น คณะขอสงวนสิทธิ์ในการเปลี่ยนแปลงใด ๆ ในภายหลัง ได้แก่ ผลการคัดเลือก สถานที่และเวลาในการไปศึกษาดูงานหรือการยกเลิกการไปศึกษาดูงานทั้งหมดซึ่งขึ้นอยู่กับสถานการณ์ของประเทศไทยและประเทศปลายทาง ณ ขณะนั้น

2.4 English Test Report
Your English test report must be valid within one year of the application submission date.
You can submit an unofficial score report, but you must submit the official one via email one day before your interview date.

2.5 Academic Transcript
2nd year applicants may submit the transcript after the first semester is completed (approx. August).
You can submit Transcript retrieve from Smartedu, but you must submit the official one via email one day before your interview date.

If you don’t have a passport, you may submit it later after passing the selection process.

Note: We accept the IELTS One Skill Retake for candidates wishing to retake the test. However, if the university does not accept the retaken score, you will be required to take the full test again.
Withdrawal and Postponement Policy
– Last-minute withdrawal/postponement (fewer than 30 days before the program commences) cause significant disruptions to scheduling and resource allocation. Applicants who fail to secure funding/ensure their availability before applying and subsequently withdraw at this late stage will face indefinite disqualification from future applications!
– In cases of postponement due to unforeseen circumstances, applicants must submit an official letter, signed and authorized by their supervisor, outlining the justifiable reasons for the request. This documentation is mandatory for consideration of a new training start date. However, approval is not guaranteed. If granted, this will constitute the final opportunity for rescheduling. Any subsequent modifications will result in program termination, with forfeiture of the non-refundable course fees as a penalty.
Non-compliance with these guidelines will result in application disqualification without further notice.

Please note that candidates must be available to attend the interview at the scheduled slot assigned by our staff.
Tentative Result Annoucement: Late of August 2025
- The result of eligible candidates taking the face-to-face English Interview examination will be declared on the Outbound page on Siriraj’s English website and International Relations Facebook.
**All candidates must attend onsite interviews and no other form of evaluation can be substituted including Zoom.
- The result of eligible candidates who passed the English Interview examination will be declared on the Outbound page on Siriraj’s English website and International Relations Facebook.
- All selected candidates who passed the English Interview examination will be closely contacted by International Relations officers via email.
After Selection
- Selected students need to submit all required documents requested by the university under International Relations supervision, e.g., application forms, health certificates, insurance, etc.
- Selected students need to proceed for air-ticket, VISA, health certificate, and insurance themselves
- The orientation ceremony will be held for selected students for preparation before going abroad (date and time shall be announced via email)
- Selected students must report their presence at the university abroad by posting a photo on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/SirirajMedicine, stating English names, universities, Departments, and period of elective.
- All selected students must submit a reflection (written in English) and a summary of the total expenditure of the trip
