The 8th ASEAN Medical Deans’ Summit 2019 will be held at the PAPRSB Institute of Universiti of Brunei Darussalam between August 23rd – 24th, 2019.
On June 24th, 2019, Prof. Dr. Prasit Watanapa, Dean of Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital along with Prof. Thawatchai Akaraviputh, Deputy Dean for International Relations welcomed Prof. Ichizo Nishino from National Center of Neurology and Psychiatry, Japan, to serve as Siriraj Visiting Scholar at Department of Pathology from June 24th – 28th, 2019.
This workshop will serve as an introduction to advanced statistical applications in R programming language. The participants will learn to apply R programs for multivariate data analysis, longitudinal data analysis, and Bayesian statistics. The three-day workshop will include lecture sessions as well as hands-on computer training.
On June 24th, 2019, Prof. Thawatchai Akaraviputh, Deputy Dean for International Relations, along with Prof. Weerasak Muangpaisan from Department of Preventive and Social Medicine, Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, welcomed Dr. Vera from Maranatha Christian University, Bandung, Indonesia, to exchange the experience in Geriatric Medicine between Thailand and Indonesia, and have an observership at Department of Preventive and Social Medicine.
