Asst. Prof. Sumanas Bunyaravej from the Department of Dermatology, Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University, has attended and given a presentation entitled “Evaluation and update treatment in Onychomycosis” at The 7th Asia Pacific Society for Medical Mycology Congress (APSMM) in China between November 22nd – 24th, 2019.

 

Prof. Pramook Mutirangura, President of Thai Vascular Association, and Professor of Division of Vascular Surgery, Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University, attended and delivered a special lecture on the topic “Pedal Bypasses With Deep Vein Arterialization For Unfixable (No Option) Distal Arteries: Technique And Long-Term Results” at the VEITHsymposium 2019 between November 19th – 23rd, 2019, in New York City, USA. #sirirajfacultyabroad

During November 21st – 23rd, 2019, Siriraj surgeon from many specialties attended the 14th Asia-Pacific Congress of Endoscopic and Laparoscopic Surgeon of Asia (ELSA 2019) held at Shangri-La Hotel, Chiang Mai.

The ELSA 2019 was held, during November 21st – 23rd, 2019, under the theme “MIS United; The One World” which the goal is to bring together an international multidisciplinary team of MIS from our brotherhood society SAGES and EAES to present and exchange recent breakthrough ideas and techniques related to MIS and to collaborate in the near future.

 

22 November 2019: Prof.Jarupim Soongsawang, Head of Departement, presented the Excellent Extern Awards to Miss. Kritchawan Ratchatavech and Miss. Aungcana Pengsopa, the externs who had outstanding performance during their practice at Department of Pediatrics from 26 Octorber – 23 November 2019.

On November 21st, 2019, Prof. Govit Pattanapunyasat welcomed six delegates from National Cheng Kung University, Taiwan, to visit Siriraj Biomedical Research Incubator Unit, Siriraj Medical Research Center. This visit is part of the ceremony called “2019 NCKU-MU Week Opening Ceremony” held during November 20th – 21st, 2019, at Faculty of Dentistry, Mahidol University.

Assoc.Prof. Prapat Wanitpongpan, Assitant Dean for International Relations, welcomed Dr. Nur Aisyah Jamil, Vice Dean for Religious, Student, and Alumni Affairs, Universitas Islam Indonesia to have a dicussion on student exchange program.

Lect. Dr. Kamontip Kunwipakorn from Division of Respiratory Disease and Tuberculosis, the Department of Medicine, Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital presented the abstract poster at the 24th Congress of Asian Pacific Society of Respirology in Vietnam on November 14th, 2019. #irsiriraj #sirirajfacultyabroad

On November 20th, 2019, Prof. Dr. Prasit Watanapa, Dean of Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital along with Siriraj executives members welcome distinguished delegates from the Faculty of Medicine, University of Brawijaya, Indonesia to visit Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital.

The delegates were escorted around the facilities of Siriraj Hospital to learn about the approach and development system in the medical education program as well as the management and implementation of the curriculum at Mahidol University and also monitored the evaluation system for quality assurance in medical education. On this occasion, the delegate leader, Dr. Retty Rahmawati, Supervisor Collaboration team also discussed the further collaboration between Brawijaya and Siriraj via the development of MOU in the field of education and research.
