On January 16th, 2020, Dr. Parnoupat Narasuppharath from the Family and Integrative Medicine Department, Golden Jubilee Medical Center, welcomed Korean medicine students from College of Korean Medicine, Kyung Hee University to visit the Alternative Medicine Center at Golden Jubilee Medical Center. The objective of this visit is to learn the fundamental of applied Thai Traditional Medicine and to correlate the differences between Korean Medicine and Applied Thai traditional medicine.

Prof. Suwannee Suraseranivongse Deputy Dean and Director of Siriraj Medical School along with Siriraj International Residency Exchange Program Scholarship committees conducted the interview with the candidates who applied for the scholarship to experience the training with prestigious medical schools abroad.

On the same day, the committee also listened to the reflection of the resident who had finished the scholarship at Juntendo University and Tokyo Medical and Dental University, Japan.

The joint conference aims to promote the development of research and Dual Degree for Ph.D. program (DDP) between Kyungpook National University and Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University. The conference was seasoned by many reputed speakers from Siriraj-KNU to deliver an insightful lecture on cancer, malaria, ophthalmology, and the plenary session was given by Prof. Dr. Pa-thai Yenchitsomanus, Head of Molecular Medicine Division on “Development of Chimeric Antigen Receptor (CAR) T-cells for Solid Tumors”.

December 4, 2019 – Global Affairs Canada is offering short-term scholarships to students from member states of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) wishing to study or conduct research in Canada.

The Canada-ASEAN Scholarships and Educational Exchanges for Development (SEED), announced by the Government of Canada in August 2017, will provide approximately 125 scholarships in 2020-2021 for study or research in fields that are aligned with the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.

Canadian post-secondary academic institutions can now submit scholarship applications on behalf of students from eligible countries by March 5, 2020. Only applications submitted directly by Canadian post-secondary academic institutions will be considered.

Interested candidates are invited to contact their home institution’s international office to learn about institutional partnerships and collaborations with Canadian institutions. Home institutions in ASEAN member states will then provide the eligible candidates’ documentation to Canadian institutions.
