Cutaneous Mycology Division and laboratory

Cutaneous mycology division and laboratory aims to promote accurate diagnosis and treatment of fungal skin and nail infections. Working with laboratory specialists, our mycology laboratory is involved in diagnosis involves microscopic examination of infected tissue and culture to identify the causative fungi. Accurate diagnosis enables the clinician to prescribe appropriate antifungal treatment. We utilize optimized technology to help in diagnosis and deliver the most effective treatments to the patients. In additional to our service, we are involved in the research study and actively participate in the education of medical mycology.
