Application of Zebrafish Model for Biomedical Research 2017

Institute of Personalized Genomics and Gene Therapy (IPGG), Department of Biochemistry, Department of Pharmacology and Department of Immunology,  Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Bangkok, Thailand are proud to host the international conference and workshop on “Application of Zebrafish Model for Biomedical Research”, which will be held in July 13th-14th, 2017 at meeting room, 12th floor., His Majesty the King’s 80th Birthday Anniversary 5th December 2007 (SiMR) Bldg. and Zebrafish Facility for Biomedical Research (ZeBR), 9th floor., Srisavarindhira Bldg., Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University, Bangkok, Thailand. We are looking forward to this exciting conference and workshop with participants from around the world.

This conference and workshop offer general knowledge on basic zebrafish husbandry and how zebrafish model is an excellent in vivo study model for different diseases. Workshop participant will have hand-on experience for basic zebrafish husbandry, zebrafish setup, microinjection and sample collection for molecular analysis.

The conference and workshop bring together a distinguished group of keynote speakers that includes Professor Jose Luis Gomez Skarmeta, Investigation Professor, Department of Gene Regulation and Morphogenesis, Campus de la Universidad Pablo de Olavide and Dr Kazuhide Shaun Okuda, Drug Discovery Cancer Research Group, Cancer Research Malaysia.
