Co-design Meetings for the Terms of Reference of the Research Excellence Development (RED) Program
Throughout June-July 2026, the Siriraj Center of Research Excellence Management Unit (SiCORE-M) organized a series of co-design meetings with representatives from the five Siriraj Centers of Research Excellence (SiCOREs) to jointly develop the Terms of Reference (ToR) for the Research Excellence Development (RED) Program. The meetings were facilitated by Prof. Dr. Prasert Auewarakul, M.D., Advisor to SiCORE-M, and served as a collaborative platform for shaping the program’s implementation framework.
Through an open and collaborative co-design process, participants exchanged perspectives, aligned strategic priorities, and reached a shared understanding of the program’s objectives, implementation framework, and expected outcomes. Discussions focused on defining the roles and responsibilities of SiCOREs receiving support from the RED Program, establishing key performance indicators and research milestones, and identifying the resources and support mechanisms required to achieve the SiCOREs’ goals.
These co-design meetings represent an important milestone in strengthening collaboration between SiCORE-M and the SiCOREs while fostering a shared commitment to research excellence. The agreed Terms of Reference will serve as a strategic framework for implementing the RED Program, supporting research capacity development, promoting accountability, and advancing high-impact, internationally competitive research that addresses national and global health challenges.
