Published The postgraduate students in Hospital Management from Faculty of Medicine, Public Health, and Nursing, Universitas Gadjah Mada, Indonesia, attended the Benchmark Field Visit to study on the topics “The Management of Academic Health System (AHS) in Universal Coverage System Era and Its Implementations” at Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University between October 2nd – 3rd, 2019. The delegations from Indonesia visit the various site of Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital such as Siriraj Hospital’s Out-Patient Department, Siriraj Medical Simulation for Education and Training (SiMSET), Siriraj Training and Education Center for Clinical Skills (SiTEC), Siriraj Piyamaharajkarun Hospital, Siriraj Bhimukstan Museum, and Siriraj Medical Museum.
The objectives of this field visits are to elaborate on the implementation of Academic Health System (AHS) in Thailand’s healthcare system, especially in the Universal Coverage System (UCS) era, to explore the role of Siriraj Hospital within the AHS and UCS, and to learn about the management and excellent services provided by Siriraj Hospital as a teaching hospital.
