Published February 28th, 2023 – Prof. Apichat Asavamongkolkul, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University, and Dr. Seamus O’Brien, R&D Director of The Global Antibiotic Research and Development Partnership (GARDP), signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to foster collaboration on antimicrobial resistance between Siriraj and GARDP.
The MOU signing ceremony began with an academic presentation on the AMR and broader GARDP R&D activities by Dr. Seamus O’Brien. The next session is followed by Prof. Visanu Thamlikitkul and Assoc. Prof. Pinyo Rattanaumpawan from the Division of Infectious Diseases and Tropical Medicine discussed their experiences in combating AMR in Thailand.
