Siriraj Faculty Abroad at AOSPR 2025 in Qatar
Between October 23rd – 26th, 2025, Associate Professor Preeyacha Pacharn, MD, Head of the Pediatric Section, Department of Radiology, Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University, was invited to attend the “Asian & Oceanic Society for Pediatric Radiology (AOSPR) Conference” held in Doha, State of Qatar. She delivered a special lecture on the topic “Neuroblastoma in Children: A Comprehensive Review.”
Her participation at this international forum brought multiple benefits to Siriraj Hospital. Firstly, it enabled the direct acquisition of cutting-edge knowledge in pediatric imaging—particularly in advanced imaging modalities—ensuring that Siriraj’s clinical practices remain aligned with international standards of excellence. Secondly, her lecture enhanced Siriraj’s global visibility as a key contributor to pediatric radiology research and education. Lastly, the conference provided valuable networking opportunities with leading specialists from across the Asia–Oceania region and beyond, fostering potential research collaborations, professional exchange, and benchmarking efforts that will further advance the quality of pediatric care.
Established in Tokyo on June 13th, 2000, the Asian and Oceanic Society for Pediatric Radiology (AOSPR) represents over fifty countries across Asia and Oceania. The 2025 conference brought together radiologists, radiographers, allied health professionals, and researchers to explore the latest innovations in pediatric radiology, encompassing molecular imaging, interventional radiology, quality and safety, and artificial intelligence. The event also featured a postgraduate course in pediatric imaging and a cultural program highlighting the history and heritage of Qatar.
