Published Ms. Chatisa Panyawong, a scientist from the Department of Dermatology, Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University, attended the “8th Congress of the Asia-Pacific Society for Medical Mycology (APSMM2024)” in Kyoto, Japan, held from November 5th – 9th, 2024. She presented an oral presentation titled “A 10-year Retrospective Study of Histopathological Features of Onychomycosis and Associated Factors with Cure”. Ms. Panyawong aims to leverage insights from this congress to further her expertise in fungal research, enhance her knowledge of pathogenic fungi, and receive valuable feedback to advance her career.
This is the first time Japan has hosted the APSMM Congress, creating a unique platform for medical mycologists in the Asia-Pacific to exchange professional insights and foster collaborations.
