Published Mr. Akkarapong Plengpanich, a research officer from the Department of Dermatology, Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University, attended the “8th Congress of the Asia-Pacific Society for Medical Mycology (APSMM2024)” in Kyoto, Japan, held from November 5th – 9th, 2024. He presented his study titled “The In-vitro Study of Factors Affecting Fungal Nail Perforation Detected by Histologic Evaluation”.
APSMM2024 served as a vital platform for global exchange on advancements in medical mycology, fostering collaboration across institutions. Mr. Plengpanich aims to apply the insights gained to further Siriraj’s research initiatives in fungal diseases on an international scale.
