From August 18^th – 21^st, 2026, Associate Professor Weerachai Srivanichakorn, MD, Medical Instructor & Doctor from the Ambulatory Medicine Division, Department of Medicine, Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University, proudly represented Siriraj at the IDF-WPR & ADC & Metabolic Disease 2026 conference in Melbourne, Australia.

During the prestigious conference, Assoc. Prof. Srivanichakorn made a significant academic contribution by delivering a Poster Presentation on a highly relevant topic: “Diagnostic Performance of 1-Hour versus 2-Hour Oral Glucose Tolerance Test for Identifying Type 2 Diabetes in Thai Individuals with Prediabetes.”

His participation greatly elevates Siriraj’s international prestige, ensuring our research is recognized on a global stage. Most importantly, this academic exchange provides an excellent opportunity to share and exchange invaluable research knowledge with experts from several countries. Upon his return, he will deliver knowledge & experience in diabetes and its complications to other staff members, residents and fellows in our faculty.
