Published Congratulations to Assoc. Prof. Prasong Tanmahasamut of Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology, Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University, for being awarded “The Y S Chang Endowment Award” at the 27th Asia & Oceania Congress of Obstetrics & Gynecology held between May 23rd – 26th, 2022, in Bali, Indonesia after Assoc. Prof. Prasong’s research paper “Effect of estradiol vaginal gel on vaginal atrophy in postmenopausal women: A randomized double-blind controlled trial” was published in The Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology Research Vol. 46, No. 8, August 2020.
About YS Chang Endowment Award: This Award was made available in 2013 by an endowment from Prof Y S Chang (22nd President of AOFOG, 2007-2009). Due to his keen interest in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (REI), he established this Award to reward the best REI paper published in the Journal of Obstetrics & Gynaecology Research (JOGR) in the 2 years preceding the AOFOG Congress. The Award is only open to member societies of the AOFOG. Only one Award will be conferred at each AOFOG Congress!
