Published On October 11th, 2023, Prof. Apichat Asavamongkolkul, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University, and the Steering Committee: Assoc. Prof. Ubolrat Santawat, Chair of the Committee and Asst. Prof. Prapat Suriyaphol, Vice Chair of the Committee, along with Siriraj Foundation, IT One, and SAP (Thailand), presided over ‘The Siriraj ERP Project (SAP S/4 HANA & SAC Implementation) Conference’ in the Pinpak Pittayapat Meeting Room on the 1st floor of the 72nd Anniversary Building.
Prof. Apichat stressed tech’s role in medicine, education, research & info management. Siriraj also has used SAP since 2005. The project aims to enhance system efficiency, data security, and scalability by transforming the back office into an Intelligent Enterprise on the Cloud, using SAP S/4HANA & SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC).
Siriraj has been a SAP user for over 20 years and is a model for other state-run hospitals. We are now embarking on a project to modernize their systems by implementing the Siriraj ERP Version, including SAP S/4HANA and SAP SuccessFactors. New budget planning and Business Warehouse systems will be installed to support seven core units.
Asst. Prof. Prapat Suriyaphol explained that five sub-teams will be created to address future challenges, each focusing on specific areas such as 1) Function Modules Support, 2) System Connection, 3) IT support, 4) SiData+, and 5) Program Development.
Our partners, Accenture and SAP (Thailand), commended Siriraj’s tech-driven growth vision and promised to apply their past experiences to ensure the project’s success.
