Published On March 6th, 2024, Prof. Apichat Asavamongkolkul, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University, and Prof. Xiaoming LI, Vice President of Zhejiang University, along with the administrative members of the Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital and the administrative members of Zhejiang University, presided over the “Signing Ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding between Siriraj and Zhejiang University”. This MOU symbolizes the ongoing commitment to academic collaboration and development between these distinguished institutions.
On this occasion, delegates explored medical advancements at the Thalassemia Center and the Metabolomics and Phenomics Center (SiMPC). At the Thalassemia Center, they witnessed dedicated researchers striving to alleviate the burdens of this genetic blood disorder in Thailand, while at SiMPC, they delved into cutting-edge technology, witnessing the analysis of metabolic processes and phenotypic variations.
