The University of California, Irvine, and the Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University, conducted an international webinar on February 21, 2026, as part of its “Otolaryngology Updates 2026” series, focusing on contemporary developments in allergen immunotherapy.

The 30-minute session, titled “Allergen Immunotherapy: Evidences, Preventative Effects, Remission and Precision Medicine” by Associate Professor Pongsakorn Tantilipikorn, MD, PhD, FRCOT, Head of the Center of Research Excellence in Allergy & Immunology (SiALL), and Director of Siriraj Institute of Clinical Research (SiCRES), addressed critical aspects of current immunotherapy practices in otolaryngological care. The presentation examined evidence-based approaches to allergen immunotherapy, with particular emphasis on preventative therapeutic strategies, remission outcomes, and the integration of precision medicine principles in treatment protocols.

The webinar format facilitated international participation, scheduled at 11:30-12:00 GMT+7 to accommodate participants across multiple time zones. Such educational initiatives represent ongoing efforts by academic medical institutions to disseminate specialized knowledge and advance clinical practice standards in otolaryngology and allergy management.
