On March 16, 2018, Professor Dr. Prasit Watanapa, Dean of Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital presided over the 7th Siriraj International Medical Microbiology, Parasitology and Immunology Competition (SIMPIC) at Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University.
SIMPIC is an international platform for medical students to challenge themselves, get to know others, and find inspiration. It is also a competition for medical students around the world who have an interest in infectious medicine, and have preferably finished their preclinical microbiology, immunology, and parasitology courses.
In this year of SIMPIC, we would like to congratulate Universitas Gadjah Mada, Team 1, Indonesia on the first prize of the competition. The 1st, 2nd, and consolation awards in this year go, respectively, to De La Salle Health Sciences Institute, the Philippines, Universitas Indonesia team 1, and Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University, Thailand.
