Research Divistion
Medical research has been one of the Faculty’s main missions for over a century, with the goal to discover new knowledge, create medical innovation, and apply those insights to solve patient’s and public health problems. Such duties are crucial to make Mahidol University the ‘Wisdom of the Land’ and one of the world’s top 100 universities. Realizing that high quality research conduct requires constant funding support, the Faculty has raise research funds through all available channels including government budget, international granting agencies, as well as direct donation from private organizations. Such duties are crucial to make Mahidol University the ‘Wisdom of the Land’ and one of the world’s top 100 universities. In terms of international cooperation, most of the biomedical and clinical research projects stemmed from collaboration between Siriraj and other leading medical schools or biomedical research institutes. The Faculty has several research networks with many prominent international organizations.
