Welcome! Students from the Department of Sports Science, College of Rehabilitation Sciences, University of Santo Tomas to undertake an observership at Siriraj Fitness Center, Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital on February 12th, 2019.

On February 11th, 2019, 4 leading medical institutes, namely, Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Faculty of Medicine Chulalongkorn University, Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital, and Faculty of Medicine and Public Health, Chulabhorn Royal Academy declared the intention to hold the International Oncology Conference under the name Princess Chulabhorn International Oncology Conference 2019: New Frontiers in Cancer Combat at Centara Grand @ Central World.
The joint oncology conference will be held during August 8th – 9th, 2019 to provide the platform for both domestic and international participants to educate, share, and exchange knowledge in cancer, and also provide an opportunity for researchers to present research poster on cancer treatment. In addition, there will be the marathon under the theme “Run Against Cancer” which will be held in July to raise the awareness and promote the well-being of people by exercising, this marathon is available for both cancer patients and ordinary people to attend.
Welcome! Prof. Peter Hokland, and Prof. Marianne Hokland from University of Aarhus, Denmark to serve at Siriraj Visiting Scholar and Siriraj Adjunct Staff, respectively, at Center of Excellence for Cancer Immunotherapy, Research Department (from January 28 – February 8, 2019), and Department of Pharmacology (1 Academic Year).
Both distinguished scholars were received a very warm welcome by Prof. Thawatchai Akaraviputh, Deputy Dean for International Relations, Prof. Dr. Pa-thai Yenchitsomanus, Head of Molecular Medicine Division, Assoc. Prof. Uraiwan Panich, Chairwoman of Department of Pharmacology, and Lecturer Dr. Mutita Junking, Ph.D. from Molecular Medicine Division.

8 February 2019: Prof.Jarupim Soongsawang, Head of Departement, presented the Excellent Extern Awards to Mr. Pichanon Wacharaprapapong and Mr. Pongnarin Lekkla, the externs who had outstanding performance during their practice at Department of Pediatrics from 14 January – 8 February2019.


On February 6th, 2019, Prof. Dr. Prasert Auewarakul, Deputy Dean of Research along with Prof. Thawornchai Limjindaporn, Deputy Dean of Postgraduate Education, Prof. Thawatchai Akaraviputh, Deputy Dean for International Relations, Assoc. Prof. Prapat Wanitpongpan, Assistant Dean for International Relations, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Thanaporn Rungruang, Vice Chairwoman of the Department of Anatomy welcomed distinguished delegates from School of Medicine Kobe University, Japan to have a discussion on the post-graduate level exchange program including Double-Degree Program and research collaboration. #irsiriraj #sirirajhospital

Regarding our Pain Clinic run 1-year fellowship program in the subspecialty of the anesthesiologist in Pain Management at the Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital in the year 2019. We would like to inform you that it will be started on 1 August 2019 to 31 July 2020. We want to encourage 1-year training to ensure that trainee has learned and trained skill in managing pain and able to do some of the useful procedures and technique.
We can afford to accept two doctors to attend a fellowship in Pain Management each year; this is not the regular course. The scholarships regularly provide for Southeast Asia countries (ASEAN + Mongolia are the most priorities for this program).
The selected candidates will be provided with tuition fees waived, accommodation, round-trip air ticket those supported by International Association for the Study of Pain (IASP) and World Federations of Societies of Anesthesiologists (WFSA).
We would like to collect all candidates’ document deadline at the 7th of March and put it through our Board Committee meeting for their consideration every February. Then we will reply to inform the answer to all candidates at the end of March every year.

Prof. Dr. Woraphong Manuskiatti, Director of Siriraj Skin Laser Center and Assistant Dean for International Relations, and Postgraduate Education, along with the Filipino, Cambodian, and Thai Fellows in Dermatologic Surgery, would like to remind the deadline for the application of “One-Year Clinical Fellowship Training Program in Dermatologic Surgery” is February 28, 2019. The prospective Fellows will be trained under the supervisions of our experienced staffs and will participate in world-class cadaver, injectable & laser workshops, and conferences. Two of our fellows just received a 2019 ASLMS Educational Grant to present their research studies in Denver. Join us for a world standard training program.
