On June 9th, 2020, Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University, and Tokyo Medical and Dental University, co-hosted the “Zoom Discussion Café ~ Mahidol University & Tokyo Medical and Dental University” for the 2nd – 6th year medical students from Siriraj and TMDU to discuss on the topics related to the COVID-19 prevention & economic priorities during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The 2020 Times Higher Education World University Rankings for Clinical, Pre-Clinical and Health subjects uses the same trusted and rigorous performance indicators as the overall World University Rankings, but the metric weightings have been recalibrated to suit the individual fields. It highlights the universities that are leading across medicine, dentistry, and other health subjects.
 
The ranking includes 775 universities, up from 721 last year. The University of Oxford leads the table for the ninth consecutive year! While Harvard, Cambridge, Imperial College London, and Stanford still complete the top five.
Canada’s University of Toronto is a standout performer in this year’s table, climbing seven places to sixth, while Yale University also joins the top 10 in ninth place, up from 11th. The University of Melbourne falls out of this elite group, dropping five places to 14th.
 
Asia’s highest-ranked institution, the National University of Singapore, climbs seven places to 19th. Other universities in the continent have also made strong progress, including Japan’s Tokyo and Kyoto universities and China’s Peking University. Mahidol University ranked #126-150!

On May 19th, 2020, the online conference on experience sharing for China-ASEAN University Consortium on Medicine and Health on the theme “Diagnosis and Treatment Protocol, Prevention and Control of COVID-19”. Congratulations! Asst.Prof. Ajalaya Teyateeti from Division of Nuclear Medicine, Department of Radiology, Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University, has completed her role as a Visiting Assistant Professor at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, Houston, Texas, USA during October 9th, 2018 – April 30th, 2020, and received her Visiting Appointment Certificate in Nuclear Oncology (Oncologic Imaging and Radionuclide Therapy).
