Prof. Kasana Raksamani from Department of Anesthesiology, Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University, attended and delivered a poster and oral presentation on the topic “Accuracy of visual estimation of the left ventricular ejection fraction in untrained perioperative echocardiographers” at the “Euroanesthesia 2021″. This congress was held as an online platform between December 17th – 19th, 2021.
Siriraj Pain Management Clinical Training Center, Department of Anesthesiology, Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University is pleased to announce the scholarship program “Siriraj International Fellowship Training in Clinical Pain Management (Academic Year 2022)“ jointly sponsored by the International Association for the Study of Pain (IASP) and the World Federation of Societies for Anaesthesiologists (WFSA).
“Siriraj International Fellowship Training in Clinical Pain Management” is a hands-on one-year fellowship program available for two outstanding multidisciplinary clinicians in pain management, treatments, and assessments for application in low-resource countries. The program will be starting on August 1st, 2022 – July 31st, 2023, at Siriraj Pain Management Clinical Training Center, Department of Anesthesiology, Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University, Bangkok, Thailand. The successful candidates will receive waived tuition fees, accommodation, round-trip air tickets, and the stipend supported by the International Association for the Study of Pain (IASP) and World Federations of Anesthesiologists (WFSA).

Prof. Nantthasorn Zinboonyahgoon, Director of Siriraj Clinical Pain Management Training Center, was invited as a guest speaker at The International Association for the Study of Pain (IASP) World Congress on Pain® on the Topical Workshop Session about Chronic Pain “Implementation of the Chronic Pain Classification as Part of the 11th Revision of the International Classification of Diseases (ICD-11) in Clinical Settings: Classification Issues and Measures for More Effective Use”. Assoc. Prof. Nantthasorn has delivered a presentation on the topic “Experiences from Early Use of the ICD-11 Chronic Pain Classification in Thailand”.
