Prof. Dr. Woraphong Manuskiatti, Director of Siriraj Skin Laser Center and Assistant Dean of International Relations granted the certificates to three doctors, namely, Dr. Dee Jay B. Areega from the Philippines, Dr. Nazish Javed from Pakistan, and Dr. Shreya Bastakoti from Nepal on their completion of the short training course in Skin Laser Surgery held during October 1st – 30th, 2018.





Department of Dermatology, Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University has applied for GA2LEN Urticaria Center of Reference and Excellence (GA2LEN UCARE), which is endorsed by GA2LEN (The Global Allergy and Asthma European Network). GA2LEN is a Network of Excellence of the leading European clinical and research facilities in the field of allergology and asthma. Its founding partners include the European Academy of Allergy and Clinical Immunology (EAACI) and the organization representing European patients with allergies and asthma (EFA). The certified centers are recognized globally as the Urticaria Center that enhances its capacity to manage patients better and increase disease awareness through research, education and advocacy activities. Siriraj Urticaria Clinic has been externally audited by Professor Marcus Maurer on September 12nd, 2018 and fulfilled all the criteria required.

During October 4th – 6th, 2018, Prof. Dr. Woraphong Manuskiatti, Director of Siriraj Skin Laser Center and Assistant Dean for International Relations delivered a talk on “A Practical Approach to Common Pigmentary Disorders in Asians” at 15th PACCD Derm and Aesthetic International Conference in Manila, the Philippines.
Professor Dr. Woraphong Manuskiatti, Assistant Dean for International Relations and Director of Siriraj Skin Laser Clinic delivered a presentation on topic “Fighting with Melasma: Win or Lose” at the “9th 5-Continent-Congress in Lasers and Aesthetic Medicine” and “Battling with Laser-Induced Postinflammatory Hyperpigmentation” during August 31 – September 1, 2018, in Barcelona, Spain.

Siriraj Nail disorder clinic
Nail disorders clinic is dedicated to the diagnosis and treatment of nail and nail apparatus disorders. Nail disease includes infections, tumors, inflammatory conditions, and nail abnormality such as abnormal color, curvature, thickness and surfaces . Appointments are required. Nail disorder clinic is available on Thursday during 13.00-15.00 on the 4th floor of Out-Patient Department building, Siriraj Hospital.

Siriraj Urticaria and Angioedema Center
Siriraj Urticaria and Angioedema Center provides diagnosis, counseling, treatment for patients with urticaria. To manage patient-specific urticaria treatment, we have multiple laboratory tests to identify the cause of urticaria. Our team consists of multidisciplinary staffs including doctors specialized in urticaria, nurses and scientists.
Siriraj Urticaria and Angioedema Center passed the standard criteria for excellent quality and management and has been verified by GA²LEN, the Global Allergy and Asthma European Network as one of the Urticaria Centers of Reference and Excellence (UCARE) and Angioedema Centers of Reference and Excellence (ACARE) centers.


Siriraj Urticaria and Angioedema Center is available on Wednesdays during 9.00 a.m. – 1.00 p.m. in room 47 on the 4th floor of Out-patient Department Building, Siriraj Hospital.
