Dermatosurgery Division

Dermatosurgery division involves with dermatlogical procedure and treatment. We also provide consultations and services including skin biopsy, cryosurgery, electrocautery, sclerotherapy, and Moh’s micrographic surgery for skin cancer. Furthermore, we also provide aesthetic treatments such as laser therapy, botulinum toxin and filler injection. Additionally, a birthmark clinic has been initiated, providing a holistic care by working with a multidisciplinary team.

Dermatopathology is studies the skin in term of cells and histology through microscopy which are the basics of the pathogenesis of skin diseases and supports disease diagnosis leading to proper treatment. We work in cooperation with pathologists and dermatologists. We have initiated Hansen clinic and Granuloma clinic which serve patients for diagnosis, treatment and follow-up.

Cutaneous Mycology Division and laboratory

Cutaneous mycology division and laboratory aims to promote accurate diagnosis and treatment of fungal skin and nail infections. Working with laboratory specialists, our mycology laboratory is involved in diagnosis involves microscopic examination of infected tissue and culture to identify the causative fungi. Accurate diagnosis enables the clinician to prescribe appropriate antifungal treatment. We utilize optimized technology to help in diagnosis and deliver the most effective treatments to the patients. In additional to our service, we are involved in the research study and actively participate in the education of medical mycology.

Occupational and Contact Dermatitis Division

The division, the first academic contact dermatitis clinic in Thailand, was settles since 1971 by Professor Patcharee Sunthornpalin. We have trained more than 200 dermatologists, and performed patch testing more than 10000 cases. We have publications in high impact international and Thai Dermatology journals.
