The English interview examination will be held on Wednesday, September 12th, 2018 at 13.00 Hrs. at room 324, Siriraj International Office, 3rd floor, Old OPD Building.

On August 28th, 2018, Professor Thawatchai Akaraviputh, Deputy Dean for International Relations attended the 2018 Taiwan – Thailand Smart Healthcare Conference on behalf of Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital at Sheraton Grande Sukhumvit. The international conference was held by the Changhua Christian Hospital and was sponsored by the Ministry of Health and Welfare, Taiwan in order to provide a platform for Thai and Taiwanese medical personnel to learn and share about Smart Healthcare in New Era-Innovation and Challenge in the globalization era.

The 7th ASEAN Medical Deans’ Summit and the 3rd ASEAN Student Collaborative Project at Hanoi Medical University, Vietnam

During August 23rd – 24th, 2018, Professor Dr. Prasit Watanapa, Dean of Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University along with Siriraj administrative members attended the 7th ASEAN Medical Deans’ Summit hosted by Hanoi Medical University, Vietnam. The focus of this year summit was purely on accreditation, research, student exchange and education. The summit was presided by Professor Nguyen Duc Hinh, President of Hanoi Medical University, Vietnam and the welcoming remark was also given by Professor Ari Fahrial Syam, SpPD-KGEH, MMB, the new Chairman of ASEAN Medical School Network.

Apart from the 7th ASEAN Medical Deans’ Summit, the 3rd ASEAN Student Collaborative Project also held at HMU. The main discussions of this year meeting were about research sharing, ASEAN culture & medical education environment, as well as ASEAN in the globalization and integration.

On August 23rd, 2018, Professor Sanjai Sangvichien, Senior Advisor Lecturer of Department of Anatomy along with Associate Professor Naris Kitnarong, Deputy Dean for Corporate Communication and Social Responsibility, and Associate Professor Prapat Wanitpongpan, Assistant Dean for International Relations, welcomed Ms. Christine Heenan, Vice President for Policy and Communication and delegations from Rockefeller Foundation to visit Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital to share and learn about the communication strategy, engagement with Thai public, fund-raising and campaigns in partnership with private sectors, and international partnership. #rockefellerfoundation #irsiriraj @ Siriraj Hospital

Associate Professor Tumtip Sangruchi, Chairman of Department of Pathology presided over the 1st NCNP-Siriraj Muscle School, the international symposium held during August 15th – 17th, 2018 at Sathitnumarnkarn Meeting Room, 8th floor, and Pathological Laboratory, Adulyadejvikrom Building, Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital.

The symposium was honored by the presence of many local and international experts, especially, Professor Ichizo Nishino, Director of Department of Neuromuscular Research, National Center of Neurology and Psychiatry (NCNP), Japan.

On August 7th, 2018, Professor Prasert Assantachai, Deputy Dean of Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital presided over the International Symposium on Neuroscience and Global Health 2018 held at Siriraj Medical Research Center (SiMR), Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital.

The symposium held during August 6th – 8th, 2018 with the sponsorship and collaboration between Mahidol UniversityUniversitetet i Oslo (UiO), and Royal Thai Embassy Oslo, Norway on the occasion of the commemoration of the 53rd Anniversary of the Research Collaboration between Mahidol University and Universitetet i Oslo in the field of Brain Research, the 9th Anniversary of Signing a General Agreement for Academic Exchange between MU and UiO, moreover, it is also the 6th Anniversary of the Application for the Norwegian Program for Capacity Building in Higher Education and Research for Development (NORHED) leading 2 projects, Mahidol-Norway Capacity Building for Institutions in Myanmar (CBIM) and Capacity Building Initiative for ASEAN (CBIA), and the 3rd Anniversary of Signing Ceremony for an Extension of the MOU for General Agreement for Academic Exchanges. The objectives of the symposium are to be a discussion platform for all international and domestic participants and speakers to learn and share with each other as well as to provide an opportunity for the participants to update the knowledge in the interesting topics.

 

2018 Taiwan Thailand Smart Healthcare Conference’ will be held on 28 August 2018 in Bangkok, Thailand. The conference will be under the main theme ‘Smart Healthcare in New Era-Innovation and Challenge’. We aim to bring in a wide range of medical professionals, medical industries, hospital’s CEOs to share and analysis on key issues and challenges faced when putting Smart Healthcare forward, particular towards the Thailand 4.0 policy.
