We are pleased to announce the English Interview Timetable for Siriraj Medical Students Exchange Program 2019 as below,

During August 2nd – 4th, 2018, Professor Dr. Prasit Watanapa, Dean of Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital along with Professor Thawatchai Akaraviputh, Deputy Dean for International Relations, Dr. Vitoon Chinswanwatanakul Chairman of Siriraj Cancer Center, and Associate Professor Asada Methasate from Department of Surgery attended the 50th Annual Meeting of the Japan Society for Medical Education” at Tokyo Medical and Dental University (TMDU), Japan.
On this occasion, Dean Prasit has also appointed as a visiting professor at TMDU. On behalf of the Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, we thank Professor Yasuyuki Yoshizawa, President of TMDU and team for a very warm welcome and hospitality!

The interview will be held at a meeting room no. 202, 2nd-floor of SiMR Building on Wednesday, August 8th, 2018 from 8.30 AM onwards.

On August 1st, 2018, Professor Dr. Prasit Watanapa, Dean of Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital along with Siriraj executives welcomed all local and international participants to the International Conference in Medicine and Public Health 2018 (SICMPH 2018) held during August 1st – 3rd, 2018 in response to Siriraj’s mission; promoting the well-being and healthy Aging Society at Srisavarindhira Building, Faculty of Medicine Sririraj Hospital.
The SICMPH 2018 revolved with 2 main sections as follows; (1) Academic Section under the theme of “Moving Forward through Aged Society”, will take place on August 1st-3rd, 2018 at Srisavarindhira Building, Faculty of Medicine Sririraj Hospital. The main activities comprised the symposium as a platform for participants to attend various lectures by renowned international and local speakers and to share knowledge for understanding a contemporary holistic healthcare and medical innovation for elderly, and Poster/oral presentation (in English), also Award Presentation for Outstanding Research Participants; and (2) Public Section under the theme of “Moving Forward through Aged Society”, will take place on July 31st – August 5th, 2018 at the 100th Year Siriraj Centennial hall and the entrance hall of the 100th Year Somdech Phrasrinagarindra building, Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital.


We are pleased to announce an extension of the application period for Siriraj Medical Students Exchange Program 2019.
The application period has been extended until August 3rd, 2018.
On July 26th, 2018, Professor Dr. Prasit Watanapa, Dean of Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University and Professor Thawatchai Akaraviputh, Deputy Dean for International Relations welcomed H.E. Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Health and Population of the Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal, Honourable Upendra Yadav, and the delegates from the Ministry of Health and Population, Kathmandu University, for their visit at the Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University.

From July 22nd – 25th, 2018, Professor Dr. Prasit Watanapa, Dean of Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital led Siriraj administrative members: Professor Thawatchai Akaraviputh, Deputy Dean for International Relations, Professor Dr. Prasert Auewarakul, Deputy Dean of Research, Dr. Vitoon Chinswangwatanakul, Chairman of Siriraj Cancer Center, and Dr. Chumpol Wongwanit from Department of Surgery to visit Oregon Health & Sciences University (OHSU), USA.
The objectives of this visit are to have a discussion on the collaboration in research, graduate education, and the Introduction of the Oregon National Primate Research Center: the Scientific Program and collaborations between OHSU and Siriraj Hospital.
On this occasion, Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital would like to extend our sincere gratitude to Dr. Joe Robertson, the President of OHSU, Dr. Sharon Anderson, Executive Vice President and Dean of the School of Medicine, and the team from OHSU for a warm hospitality and kind arrangements.
