International Academic Exchange Enhances Cancer Care Knowledge at Siriraj
The Division of Radiation Oncology, Department of Radiology, Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University, recently hosted Assistant Professor Natalie Spaccarelli from The Ohio State University, United States, for a series of educational presentations and clinical exchanges.
Dr. Spaccarelli delivered comprehensive lectures covering two critical areas of contemporary oncology practice: Melanoma Cancer Management and Managing Skin-related Toxicity from Cancer Therapy. These presentations addressed essential components of multidisciplinary cancer care, particularly relevant as therapeutic modalities continue to evolve in complexity and sophistication.
The academic visit extended beyond formal presentations to include clinical observation and professional exchanges within both the Division of Radiation Oncology and the Department of Dermatology at Siriraj Hospital. These interactions facilitated the sharing of clinical practices, treatment protocols, and research methodologies between the institutions.
The collaborative exchange represents part of ongoing efforts to strengthen international academic partnerships and enhance the quality of cancer care through knowledge transfer and best practice sharing.
