Associate Professor Sakda Khoomrung, PhD, Head of the Siriraj Center of Research Excellence – Metabolomics and Systems Biology (SiCORE-MSB), Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University, attended the 2025 International Chemical Congress of Pacific Basin Societies (Pacifichem 2025). The congress was hosted by the Canadian Society for Chemistry in Honolulu, Hawaii, USA, from December 15–20, 2025.

During the event, Assoc. Prof. Khoomrung delivered a special lecture titled “Systems biology to elucidate the biosynthetic pathways of pyranonaphthoquinone-318A in Ventilago harmandiana Pierre.”

This participation underscores Siriraj’s commitment to advancing medical research on an international level. By engaging with global experts, the Faculty aims to strengthen academic networks and foster future multi-disciplinary collaborations in the fields of metabolomics and systems biology.
