During September 8th – 10th, 2022, Lecturer Dr. Taniga Kiatchai of the Department of Anesthesiology, Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University, attended the international conference “The 50th Society for Neuroscience in Anesthesiology and Critical Care (SNACC) Annual Meeting” in the USA, and delivered a poster presentation on the topic “Effect of First Anesthesia Exposure on Short-Term Neurocognitive Function in Children between Ages 1-36 Months: a Case-Control Pilot Study.” Her poster presentation will be presented to a broader group audience, and the abstract will be published as a conference abstract in the Journal of Neurosurgical Anesthesiology!
The 50th SNACC Annual Meeting delivers a program designed to meet and update the educational needs and practice gaps of neuroanesthesiologists, neurocritical care specialists, and all perioperative neuroscience practitioners who engage in providing care to neurologically impaired patients/patients at risk of neurologic injury during the perioperative period, as well as neuroscientists engaged in both clinical and basic perioperative neuroscience research. The workshops, symposia, lectures, and abstract presentations will specifically address new clinical findings essential to improving the care of patients, as well as advancing both basic and clinical research in perioperative neuroscience.
