From June 4^th – 8^th, 2026, Associate Professor Weerachai Srivanichakorn, MD, from the Department of Medicine, Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University, proudly represented Siriraj at the American Diabetes Association (ADA) 2026 conference in the USA.

During the prestigious conference, Assoc. Prof. Srivanichakorn made a significant academic contribution by delivering a Poster Presentation on a highly relevant and compelling topic: “Divergent Risk profiles of Diabetes Progression in lean and obese prediabetes.”

His participation greatly elevates Siriraj’s international prestige on a global stage. Most importantly, this academic exchange allows him to bring back the most current knowledge and technological advancements regarding diabetes, obesity, and prediabetes—vital insights that will be highly beneficial for enhancing patient care and advancing metabolic research at Siriraj Hospital upon his return.
