Siriraj Faculty Abroad at the ANN & AOMC 2026 in Perth, Australia
From June 3rd – 5th, 2026, Professor Oranee Sanmaneechai, MD, from the Division of Pediatric Neurology, Department of Pediatrics, Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University, proudly represented Siriraj at the prestigious joint conference of the Asian Neuromuscular Network and the Asian and Oceanian Myology Center (ANN & AOMC 2026) in Perth, Australia.
During this world-renowned neurology conference, Prof. Sanmaneechai made significant academic contributions through multiple leading roles. She served as a Session Chair for “Symposium 2: Inflammatory Myopathies” alongside Dr. Mridul Johari from Australia. Additionally, she took the stage as an Invited Speaker to deliver an insightful presentation on a clinically impactful topic: “Diagnostic Yield of High-Risk Screening for Late-Onset Pompe Disease in Thailand.” She also actively participated as an AOMC Executive Committee member to foster and expand international collaboration networks.
Her active participation greatly elevates Siriraj’s international prestige in pediatric neurology and neuromuscular disorders, ensuring our clinical and research excellence is recognized on the global stage. Most importantly, this academic exchange provides invaluable opportunities to collaborate with leading specialists worldwide. The updated knowledge and collaborative networks established will directly benefit Siriraj Hospital by enhancing patient care, advancing academic and research activities, and strengthening multidisciplinary collaboration to improve healthcare quality in Thailand.
