Our team is interested in the effect of cancer microenvironment on cancer progression and treatment response. We are interested in dendritic cell, neoantigen, and adoptive T cell therapy for management of advanced cancer patients.
Adoptive T cell represents a promising immunotherapeutic approach for treatment of advanced cancers i.e. melanoma, lung cancer, breast cancer, colorectal cancer.
We are interested to develop dendritic cell (DC) vaccine in several solid tumours using overexpressed antigens or neoantigens.
With collaboration by computer science teams, artificial intelligence is utilized to help enumerate cancer and immune cells in clinical samples
- Roles of cancer-associated fibtoblasts (CAFs) in the progression and targeted therapy in solid cancers (breast, colon, ovary, bile duct.)
- We have focused to investigate the substances from CAFs acting as growth factors, immune response-moduiators, and autophagy regulators which can promote cancer progression metastasis and chemoresistance.
- Subtypes of cancer-infiltrating lymphocytes (CILs) are proposed to predict prognosis of patients in several cancers by modulating the anti-tumour immune responses.
- Cancer cells-CAFs-CILs Interaction. The intervention of these interactions and the method to increase patient anti-cancer immunity are the ultimate goals to translate as part of cancer precision medicine.
