On October 28th, 2019, Siriraj Surgery team led by Lect. Dr. Voraboot Taweerutchana, Director of Surgical Endocrine, Bariatric, and Metabolomic Surgery Center and Prof. Anusak Yiengpruksawan, Siriraj International Visiting Scholars of Department of Surgery attended the General Surgery Session on Challenging and Unusual Problems in Surgery held by American College of Surgeons at Moscone Convention Center, San Francisco, California, USA.

On this occasion, two Siriraj Surgeons, namely, Dr. Tharathon Suwatthanarak and Dr. Thikhamporn Tawantanakorn delivered lectures, respectively, on “Giant Esophageal Epiphrenic Diverticuum Treated by Robotic Surgery” and “Robotic Splenectomy with Aneurysmectomy for Splenic Tumor with Large Splenic Arterial Aneurysm” at the conference. #sirirajfacultyabroad #irsiriraj

 

On October 25th, 2019, Assoc.Prof. Thanya Subhadrabandhu, Acting Vice President of Mahidol University,  along with Assoc.Prof. Nopraenue Sajjarax Dhirathiti, Acting Vice President for International Relations and Corporate Communication, presided over “Mahidol University International Night 2019” on the theme of “Cultural Synergy” at the Southeast Asia Music Museum, College of Music, Mahidol University Salaya Campus. Prof. Aasis Unnanuntana from Department of Orthopedic Surgery, Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital was invited to be a symposium guest speaker to give a talk on “Complex Total Knee Arthroplasty” at the 63rd Annual Congress of the Korean Orthopaedic Association at the Grand Hilton Seoul, the Republic of Korea on October 17th, 2019.

On October 10th, 2019, Prof. Suwannee Suraseraneewongse, Deputy Dean and Director of Siriraj Medical School, along with Prof. Thawatchai Akaraviputh, Deputy Dean for International Relations, Assoc.Prof. Sith Sathornsumetee and Prof Woraphong Manuskiati, Assistant Dean for International Relations, conduct an English interview examination for the scholarship “Siriraj International Residents and Fellows Exchange Program 2020” and hearing the reflection of Siriraj International Residency & Fellow Exchange Program 2019.
