On March 13, 2018, Professor Thawatchai Akaraviputh, Deputy Dean for International Relations and Dr. Vitoon Chinswangwatanakul, Chairman, Siriraj Cancer Center welcomed medical students and lecturers from Tokyo Medical and Dental University (TMDU), Japan to observe laboratories and visit Siriraj Medical Musuem at Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital. On this occasion, lecture on “Siriraj Medical Students & Division of Student Affairs” was kindly given to the TMDU students and lecturers by Associate Professor Rattapon Thuangtong, Deputy Dean of Student Affairs. In addition, the group will spend four more days at Siriraj for learning about student life at the school, medical education system, as well as cultural exchange with Thai medical students !

Lao, to undertake a short-training program at Siriraj Endoscopic Surgery Unit, and Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, under the scholarship called “Siriraj Scholarship for Doctors from ASEAN and Developing Countries” between March 5 – April 30, 2018.

The certificates were granted by Associate Professor Kleebsabai Sanpakit, Head of Division of Hematology & Oncology, and witnessed Professor Dr. Vip Viprakasit, the Thalassemia expert.

The certificates were granted by Professor Woraphong Manuskiatti, Assistant Dean for International Relations!

During January 1 – March 31, 2018, Department of Anesthesiology arranged the International Short Course for Peri-operative Transesophageal Echocardiography for foreign physicians at Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital by having Assistant Professor Prasert Sawasdiwipachai as the chief and the supervisor of the program.

On February 28, 2018, Professor Thawatchai Akaraviputh, Deputy Dean for International Relations welcomed Dr. So-Youn Jung, Chief of Cancer Healthcare Research Branch in Research Institute, National Cancer Center, Korea to discuss for further collaboration between Siriraj and NCC.
