Exciting news! Dr. Kwanjeera Wanichthanarak and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sakda Khoomrung from the Siriraj Center of Research Excellence in Metabolomic and Systems Biology (SiCORE-MSB), Faculty of Medicine, Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University, have just published groundbreaking research in the Journal of GigaScience on March 15, 2024.

Their study, focusing on data processing solutions to enhance the quantitative nature of metabolomics, offers invaluable insights for both food and clinical metabolomics. By evaluating various data processing methods, including an examination of data distribution characteristics and fold difference patterns between metabolites, the team has introduced Metabox 2.0. This powerful tool facilitates thorough metabolomic data analysis, from processing to biomarker analysis, integrative analysis, and data interpretation.
