Even though the announcement of the “Best Survivor Award 2023” winner concluded on August 31st, 2023, the sense of fulfillment still resonates.

From the pen of Mr. Surapornchai Thammasiri, a 4th-year student of Sirindhorn School of Prosthetics and Orthotics at the Faculty of Medicine, Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University, who submitted his compelling story, “The Boots,” to the competition and emerged as the winner of the “Best Survivor Award,” we find inspiration that transcends the mere facets of studying, learning, enduring, and surviving.

Mr. Surapornchai‘s narrative doesn’t just tell us how he studies, learns, endures, and survives but underscores the essence of living while simultaneously thinking about others.

On behalf of the Faculty of Medicine, Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University, we extend our heartfelt congratulations to Mr. Surapornchai for his outstanding achievement in the “Gen Will Survive” campaign hosted by The SCG Foundation. The Gen Will Survive is a campaign aimed at empowering the new generation to survive and thrive with valuable skills, enabling them to share their success stories and remarkable experiences in generating and sustaining independent income. It’s not about the amount of income; what truly matters is how these stories inspire others.

Once again, congratulations to Mr. Surapornchai Thammasiri for a job well done, and we wish him continued success in his future endeavors!
