On January 12th, 2023, the Committee of Siriraj International Resident & Fellow Exchange Program Scholarship 2023 consisted of Assoc. Prof. Prapat Wanitpongpan, the Deputy Dean for Corporate Communication and International Relations, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Suwattanee Kooptiwut, the Assistant Dean of Postgraduate Education, and Assoc. Prof. Rattapon Thuangtong, the Deputy Dean of Student Affairs, conducted an English interview (the 2nd round pick) with ten candidates (Siriraj’s Residents & Fellows) who applied for the scholarship to experience the observership program at the prestigious medical schools abroad.
Welcome, Dr. Malina Lim, a 3rd -year resident from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), USA, to undertake an elective study at the Division of Infectious Diseases, Department of Pediatrics, Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University, under the supervision of Assoc. Prof. Wanatpreeya Phongsamart, starting from January 11th – February 24th, 2023.
Welcome, Ms. Pernilla Jönsson, a 5th-year medical student from Lund University, Sweden to undertake an elective study at the Center of Applied Thai Medicine and the Division of Infectious Diseases and Tropical Medicine, Department of Medicine from December 19th – January 11th, 2023.

Welcome, a Korean medical student from Yonsei University College of Medicine, South Korea, to undertake an elective study at the Department of Anesthesiology from January 3rd – 13th, 2023, and the Department of Dermatology from January 16th – 20th, 2023. And between January 3rd – 6th, 2023, Mr. Natanon Kittimongkolsuk and Ms. Chakriya Jirasutthichoti, the high school students also attended an observership program called ’shadowing electives’ at the Department of Anesthesiology.
