On March 29th, 2021, Prof.Dr. Prasit Watanapa, Dean of Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University, together with Lect. Dr. Pattanasak Mongkolwat, Dean of Faculty of Information And Communication Technology, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vichita Ractham, Dean of College of Management Mahidol University, Asst. Prof. Dr. Theeraporn Rubcumintara, Vice Dean for Academic Affairs and Quality Assurance, Faculty Engineering, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chanuantong Tanasugarn, Dean of the Faculty of Public Health, Mahidol University, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the five Faculties of Mahidol University to develop a Joint Master Degree Program which combined all expertise in the fields of Medicine, Engineering, Information and Communication Technology, Management, and Public Health, in one program!

Congratulations to Lect. Dr. Prachya Maneeprasopchoke, whose article on the topic “Intraoperative Nerve Monitoring in Thyroid Surgery: Analysis of Recurrent Laryngeal Nerve Identification and Operative Time” has been published in the Journal of Laryngoscope Investigative Otolaryngology. This article was based on the successful collaboration between the Department of Otorhinolaryngology, Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University, and the Department of Otolaryngology, Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary, Harvard Medical School, which was led to the publication of this article in 2021.



Moreover, this paper was selected for oral presentation at the European Congress on Head and Neck Oncology (ECHNO 2020) held on May 6-9, 2020 in Brussels, Belgium. However, this congress was postponed due to COVID-19 situation.

To continue the mission of promoting mutual understanding between the people of the United States and Thailand through educational exchange, Thailand‑United States Educational Foundation (TUSEF) or “Fulbright Thailand” is glad to announce the annual competition for the 2022 FULBRIGHT THAI GRADUATE SCHOLARSHIP or TGS (Open Competition Scholarship Program, OC) to qualified Thai individuals for graduate study (master’s and doctoral degrees) in the United States of America in the academic year 2022.
Up to seven grants will be available for candidates who will commence their graduate level studies in the academic year 2022. This year, Fulbright will provide support for candidates seeking masters and doctoral degrees.
Awards will be offered in a broad variety of fields with the exception of medicine and nursing. Public health and allied subjects with no clinical practices are eligible.
