On March 4th, 2019, Prof. Emeritus Pakit Vichyanond, Director, Samitivej Allergy Institute (SAI) along with Dr. Adinun Kittiratanapaibool, M.D., Director of Samitivej Srinakarin Hospital, Dr. Surangkana Techapaitoon, Deputy CEO of Samitivej Hospital, Prof. Dr. Prasert Auewarakul, Deputy Dean of Research, Asst.Prof. Punchama Pacharn and Lecturer Witchaya Srisuwatchari from Department of Pediatrics, Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital joined handed together for signing the MOU between Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, The Samitivej Allergy Institute and the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. The MOU initially highlighted the collaboration on research in the wheat allergy (epidemiology, diagnosis, and treatment).
The group from Siriraj and SAI received a warm welcome by Dr. Dennis Charney, Dean of the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and Dr. Scott Sicherer, the current Director of the Jaffe Food Allergy Institute and Chief of the Division of Pediatric Allergy & Immunology at Mount Sinai.
3 April 2019: Assoc. Prof.Narumon Densupsoontorn, presented the Excellent Extern Awards to Ms. Pasiri Jungsanguanpornsuk and Ms. Phattiya Nimmankiatkul, the externs who had outstanding performance during their practice at Department of Pediatrics from 8 MAR 2019 to 6 APR 2019.
